If you’ve picked up a copy of Our Community News lately, you may have seen our ad. The headline reads “Reconnect Right Here At Home,” and it’s written for a guest we love hosting: the person who lives nearby.
About half of the people who stay at Monument Glamping are staycationers. Most come from Colorado Springs and Denver. They don’t need a flight or a week off work. They need a night out of the apartment, a real bed under canvas, and a fire to sit beside. The drive is short, and it still feels like you went somewhere.
That’s what the line in the ad is getting at: “Semi-outdoors. Super close. Truly connected.” The tent pictured is Sunshine, with its fire pit and a pair of red chairs waiting on the deck.
What a Monument Glamping staycation looks like
Monument Glamping is private-property glamping in Monument, Colorado. We are not a campground, an RV park, or an outdoor resort. Every stay is your own space: a safari tent or container home with a real bed, your own deck, and your own fire pit. Amenities like private hot tubs and grills are part of what we offer too.
There’s no camping gear to pack. No tent to pitch, no cooler to haul, no sleeping bags to air out. You show up, and the hard part is already done. Just bring your favorite person.
Who stays close to home
Couples celebrating an anniversary or a birthday. Locals hosting visiting family who want something more memorable than another dinner out. People who live in town, love Colorado, and haven’t had a real night off in a while. A staycation doesn’t ask you to plan a trip. It asks you to pick a night.
Why we advertise locally
Our Community News is delivered to 30,000 locals, and that’s the point. Our neighbors are our guests. Plenty of glamping businesses only market to out-of-state vacationers. We’ve found that the people closest to us are some of the ones who enjoy the place most.
We’re proud to be a local business that locals actually get to enjoy. We live here too.
If you’ve been thinking about a quiet night away without the long drive, come see what private-property glamping feels like. Check availability and book direct at MonumentGlamping.com. Just show up.
