Are you a hunter? Consider hunting Monument Creek during the off-season of glamping. Monday and Tuesday mornings during duck hunting season, we allow glampers to hunt the property. Here are the details.
Cost and Amenities
$300 includes overnight stay in one of our Safari Tents and hot breakfast delivered at sunrise. Tents are furnished with a queen bed, hot tub, sitting deck, grill, and fire pit. You’ll be hunting in luxury!
The Experience / Schedule
Check in at 3pm, unpack your gear, and walk the property to get your game plan on. Grill up some dinner on the deck, enjoy a drink or two, and retire for the evening. A dip in your personal hot tub might be most enjoyable, but remember, you’re here to hunt. Wake at sunrise and venture down to the duck blind. The hunt ends at 11am, check-out of your tent at noon.
Dates Available
Hunts take place Monday and Tuesday mornings, check-in the night before. All hunters must be fully certified with current duck hunting licenses. The Colorado duck hunting season is 11/6/22 – 1/31/23, with some variations for geese. Three tents are available, a maximum of two hunters per tent allowed per day. Here are our available dates:
- November 2022: 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29
- December 2022: 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27
- January 2023: 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31

Your Prep List
What you need to do to make this trip happen:
- Book your stay! If the tent is available on that Monday or Tuesday, then a slot is ready for you and your hunt.
- Bring your necessary gear (gun, ammo) and an updated waterfowl license allowing you to hunt duck and geese in Colorado.
- Steel shot required with no more than #3 weight to your shells. (We prefer #2.)
- Pack for a grill dinner, evening beverages, and your hunting munchies.
Our Hunting Philosophy
We expect two things whenever we hunt: safety and success…in that order. We demand safe hunting from all our guests, and we will prep every participant to follow our direction as to where to shoot and how to hunt the property. We will expel any hunter who violates any of our safety rules. All hunters must be sober and drug-free, absolutely no substances allowed, and we expect all hunting laws to be followed explicitly. There are no exceptions.
