Your Space
⛺ YOUR LOT IN LUXURY. Made from the highest quality canvas set upon a permitted deck (safety inspected, not on dirt). A queen size bed welcomes you with two cots + sleeping bags for up to two guests (e.g. children). Lamps and tiki torches keep your space lit, though we recommend headlamps for getting around at night (battery-operated lanterns are available). Complimentary coffee, tea and a few munchies will be provided. A power strip is ready for charging gadgets.
⛺ YOUR DECK. Chairs are set up for you and ready to use with a fire pit to enjoy. A two-burner grill with utensils you’d expect (tongs, spatulas, etc.) and we include a cast-iron pan to cook with. The grill has a side-burner to heat water, and a kettle is provided for use. Propane for the fire pit and grill is provided for FREE.
⛺ YOU’RE ROUGHING IT (A LITTLE). Your tent comes furnished with a sheeted queen bed and sitting area, coffee/tea set up, and wine glasses. A solar panel is hooked up to give you adequate energy for powering gadgets. A separate wall tent is set up for you that includes a camp toilet and shower bag for washing up. Complete instructions are provided for you.
⛺ THE SHARED OUTDOORS. The tent and deck are your private spaces. Outside your space is the rest of the acreage: waterfowl, mule deer, hawks and eagles, flowers, and a beautiful flowing creek that you can wade through. Walking the property is allowed, though the space is shared with our family and other glampers.
Other Things to Note
⛺ LOCATION. The Monument/Colorado Springs area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Conveniently located along the Rampart Range of Colorado, your tent is nestled in a rural-residential homestead with a beautiful creek flowing through it (and you’re welcome to explore!). A mile to the East is civilization (restaurants, shops, etc.), and a mile to the West is dense mountain forests (Pike National Forest). Public lakes are within a couple miles, and tons of tourist attractions a short drive away (Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, etc.).
⛺ AMENITIES. We provide towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash can liners. If you forget anything, Walmart is a two-mile drive, or just text us. We may have “forgetables” on hand to save you the trip. Be aware of AMENITY LIMITATIONS. Glamping is “glamorous,” but it is still outdoors and subject to weather conditions. We have complimentary water bottles and a few snacks, but pack as if you’re going camping. Just don’t bring any camping gear…we’ve got that covered.
⛺ BATHROOMS. Your tents are set up with a private Davis Tent Royal Throne Outhouse™ with Cabela’s Camp Commodes™. These are much like composting toilets but with immediate disposal. Toilet paper and freshener are stocked. Solar shower bags are provided to give you warm washing-up opportunities. If you’d prefer a full-out shower, a Pilot Station is two miles away at the closest Interstate exit.
⛺ PETS. Pets must be added to your reservation (an additional fee applies). We trust pet owners to bring anything their pets need to make their visit pleasant (i.e. leash, food, mess bags, etc.). Have a plan ready in case your pet gets wet from the creek or morning dew (i.e. your own drying towels, a portable kennel). We have pets, too, so they’ll need to get along if they meet. Pets are not allowed on the bed.
⛺ NO PARTIES. Moderate drinking is allowed, but “parties” are strictly prohibited. Keep all tobacco smoking outside the tent and properly dispose of all cigarette butts. We are not a 420 friendly environment (no marijuana). Any extra guests must be granted written permission through the rental app and ahead of arrival. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Musical devices are allowed, but if they are turned up loud enough for other glampers to hear, they are too loud. Violators may be asked to leave.
⛺ SELF CHECK IN. Check in anytime after 3:00pm, but let us know if you will be arriving after dark. Your glamping site will be cleaned and ready for you. You may drive straight to your site and enter your tent. Text us when you arrive and we’ll come and introduce ourselves and answer any questions you may have.
⛺ DURING YOUR STAY. We are living family life up the hill in the main house, but someone may be available to come help you with anything onsite. We are friendly people who love to meet our guests, but we also will respect your space and your privacy. We will never enter your tent during your stay. Always feel free to message us with questions or concerns.
