Who owns Monument Glamping?

Chris and Wendy Jeub own Monument Glamping. They are well-known members in the Pikes Peak Region and the glamping community abroad, members of both the local Chamber of Commerce and the nationally-recognized American Glamping Association. They’ve been featured in The Tribune, Monument Living Magazine, TLC, and likely more media to come. They take outdoor hospitality seriously and do all they can to make sure your glamping experience is the best it can be.
You’ll be communicating with either Chris or Wendy when you register, and you will likely meet some of their family during your stay. The Jeubs have a large family with several of the adult children (and their spouses) manage and maintain the properties.

What are the unique rentals like?
Unique. That’s what you’ll find at Monument Glamping, but we’ve settled on a few standard rentals with amenities that we think are most glamorous…
- Safari Tents. Premium canvas safari tents are manufactured by Davis Tent (Denver), a 210 sq ft platform with a spacious front deck with a view. Expect a fully fitted queen bed, electrical station, deck with seating, a personal hot tub, a personal shower and toilet, propane grill, and more.
- Bell Tents. These off-grid bell tents are also canvas, but manufactured by White Duck Canvas Tents and they are set on a raised garden bed. Expect all from our safari tent, but no electricity or plumbing.
- Container Homes. Made from 20-foot shipping containers, these are perfectly “cozy” with all the amenities you’d expect in a tiny home (shower, bath, running water, queen bed, kitchenette). Except all our containers come with a hot tub on a deck with an outdoor view.
- Tiny Home. We have one tiny home called “Big Red.” It’s actually a registered RV, but spacious with a deck and a hot tub. Custom made with top-of-the-line amenities, Big Red is one of our most popular glamping experiences.
What are the bathrooms like?
Each bathroom situation is explained in the venue description. Generally speaking, you can expect one of these two situations:
- Premium Facilities. These include private shower, toilet, and running water usually attached to the venue. Our container homes and tree houses have such bathroom facilities. Two of our safari tents (Sunshine and Stargazer) have personal bathrooms with flushing toilet and showers.
- Outdoor Privacy Tents. These include “Royal Thrones,” a Davis Outfitters Privacy Tent, with a Cabela’s Camp Toilet. Water is provided from a shared spigot or provided for you when you check in. Our bell tents all have these privacy tents, as do two of our safari tents (Shady Pine and Butterfly).
How should I pack for glamping?
You’re GLAMPing, so no camping gear required. Pack as if you’re staying in a hotel. All units have fully fitted queen beds, and we provide towels for the hot tubs and showers.
Is wifi available?
Yes! A wifi code will be provided for you when you arrive. Our off-grid tents may not have access, but all our properties have satellite signal enough for you to get by.
Don’t get too comfortable surfing the internet. Get in the hot tub, go for a hike, read a book. Sure, check your emails and get a little work done, but be sure to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. You’re glamping.
Should I be concerned about wildlife?
You might hear a coyote howl at night and you’ll see plenty of deer during your stay, but we don’t have “dangerous” animals (i.e. lions, tigers, bears) on the property. We are close enough to civilization to keep such critters distant, but far enough to have a true outdoor experience.
What about bad weather?
We do not allow cancellations for rainy days or cold temperatures. Our canvas tents and platforms provide excellent protection against the elements, and don’t write off the magic of sleeping under canvas during a rainfall, or waking up to a blanket of snow on your deck. Embrace the elements.
That said, we’ve had some doozies rip through the mountains, so we make exceptions if vacation plans get ruined. Therefore we have a money-back guarantee if the weather ruins your vacation. In other words, if the weather forces you to cancel and get a hotel, we’ll refund 100%. We’ve done this for ice/wind/snow storms and arctic blasts before.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! All but one of our units allow pets (exception is Big Red). There is a $30 pet fee, and this will notify us of the added furry guest. We require all pet owners to keep their pets under control and close to their unit. Bring any necessary items to make their experience just as nice as for humans (i.e. kennel, extra towels, leash, etc.). Pets are not allowed on the furniture or bed, so consider bringing a pet bed.
NOTE: Unruly behavior of your pet is your responsibility. We will seek reimbursement if extra cleaning is required.
What time do I check in / check out?
Check-in time is any time after 4pm, but we ask that you arrive before dark. If you plan to arrive late, let us know and we’ll turn the light on for you. Early check-in at 12 noon is available for $35, but may not be approved depending on the previous guest or our cleaning crew. Complete instructions will be messaged to you to make check-in as hands-off as possible, but we may come by to answer any questions you may have. We are always available through messaging.
Check-out time is 10am. Deep cleaning is not necessary, but we ask that you tidy up to make it easy on our cleaning team. Late check-out may be requested ($30 fee), but may also not be approved. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but it depends on our cleaning team and if the next guest asked for an early check-in.
What is your cancellation policy?
Always “flexible.” This means you get a full refund if you cancel up to a day before check-in.
This runs alongside our overarching philosophy: Treat travelers as we would like to be treated if we were traveling. Life “happens,” and when it does, we work with you as best we can.
Are there job opportunities at Monument Glamping?
