The Thank-You Rocks: A Small Gift from a Monument Glamping Guest

Every so often, something shows up on the property that we didn’t ask for and didn’t expect. This week it was a small collection of hand-painted rocks, tucked into the grass just outside one of our venues. A Colorado flag. A rock reading “Monument Glamping.” And spelled out across the rest, letter by letter: Thank You.

We don’t know exactly when it happened during the stay — somewhere between the fire pit and the hot tub, a guest sat down on their deck with paint and rocks and turned part of an afternoon into something quiet and creative. Then they left it behind for us to find.

It’s a small thing. It’s also exactly the thing we’re trying to build.

Monument Glamping isn’t a campground, an RV park, or an outdoor resort.
