This week the whole operation shifted from tents and hot tubs to marshmallows and graham crackers. We’re hand-packing 4,000 individual s’mores kits — one at a time — to throw to kids along the route at the Monument 4th of July Parade.
It’s exactly what it sounds like: marshmallow, chocolate, graham cracker, sealed in a clear bag, ready to land in a kid’s hands as the floats roll by. Simple, sweet, and honestly a little chaotic to assemble at that scale. Four thousand of anything by hand takes a while.
