This weekend, eight women are coming to Monument Glamping for a bridal shower. Wendy spent the morning at King’s Quarters getting the site ready β and watching her walk through it, I was reminded of something we don’t say often enough: this property isn’t only for overnight stays. It’s a place to hold the moments that matter.
King’s Quarters is our creekside semi-outdoor venue. It sits along Monument Creek on private property, which means the group has the space to themselves. No shared pavilion. No parking lot view. No banquet room with the ceiling tiles and the beige carpet. Just open air, the water moving by, and a setting that does most of the work before anyone says a word.
If you’ve ever planned a bridal shower, you know the real cost isn’t the venue rental. It’s the logistics. Someone books a room. Someone else picks up the decorations. Two people arrive early to set up folding tables. The mother of the bride does four trips to the car. By the time the guest of honor arrives, half the party is already tired.
We wanted to take that off the table. When a group books King’s Quarters for a celebration, Wendy handles the setup. The site is ready when guests walk in. That’s the whole idea behind private-property glamping in the first place β remove the friction, keep the experience. Just show up.
That’s true of an overnight stay in one of our safari tents, where you get a real bed, a private deck, a private hot tub, and a fire pit without packing a single piece of camping gear. And it’s true of a bridal shower at King’s Quarters, where the venue is already set and the creek is already running.
Monument Glamping is not a campground, an RV park, or an outdoor resort. It’s private property in Monument, Colorado, ten minutes from Palmer Lake and right up against Pike National Forest. Eight units, each with its own space. Guests come for anniversaries, quiet weekends, family visits, and β increasingly β for celebrations exactly like this one.
Honestly, this is our favorite kind of booking. There’s something about being handed a moment that matters to somebody and getting to build the setting for it. A bride surrounded by eight people who love her, outside, by the creek, in a place she’ll remember. We get to be a small part of that.
If you’re planning a bridal shower, a birthday, an anniversary, a girls’ weekend, or any celebration that deserves better than a rented room, reach out. Tell us what you’re celebrating and we’ll help build it.
Check availability and book direct at MonumentGlamping.com. Just show up β we’ll handle the setup.
