Every business has a reason it exists. Ours sits around a dinner table.
This Father’s Day, like last year, the Jeub men are gathering for steaks. The photo here is from last year’s celebration β a few of my sons and sons-in-law, plates full, the good drinks poured, a flower centerpiece Wendy set out, and a lot of laughing. Tonight we’ll do it all over again: fire up the grill, get the steaks going, and fill the table.
People ask how big our family is. Here’s the honest count in my quiver: 7 sons, 4 sons-in-law, 1 soon-to-be son-in-law, and 1 very grateful dad. They’re good men β hard workers, steak eaters, Spartan racers, and the kind of guys who show up when it matters. Getting to sit at the head of that table is the privilege of my life.
I share this because it’s the root of what we do at Monument Glamping. We’re not a campground, an RV park, or an outdoor resort. We’re private-property glamping in Monument, Colorado β luxury safari tents and container homes with real beds, private hot tubs, fire pits, and creekside quiet. But underneath the amenities, the whole idea is simpler than that: build a place where people can gather the ones they love and actually be present with them.
That’s why our guests get the entire space to themselves. Your own deck. Your own hot tub. Your own fire pit. No shared bathhouse, no neighbors twenty feet away, no packing a truck full of camping gear. Just show up β and spend the evening with your people instead of fussing over logistics. The same thing that makes our family dinners worth driving in for is the thing we try to give every guest: room to slow down and reconnect.
To all the dads out there β the ones teaching, grilling, coaching, and quietly holding it all together β Happy Father’s Day. We see you, and we’re grateful for you.
