When we built Honeycomb in 2025, one of our safari-tent-and-container venues at Monument Glamping, the setting overlooking Monument Creek was everything we wanted β except for one small distraction. From certain angles, you could just make out a few neighboring houses in the distance, breaking the sense of total privacy that private-property glamping is supposed to deliver.
Rather than ignore it, we treated it as a design problem worth solving. We started researching how to build a sauna ourselves, and once we found a workable approach, we themed the build right into the Honeycomb container so it felt like part of the unit, not an add-on bolted onto the side.
It worked better than we expected. Honeycomb is now the top-performing venue on the property, and the sauna is still the only one we’ve built β for now. Every unit at Monument Glamping comes with a private deck, firepit, and hot tub, which is already more privacy and comfort than a typical campground or hotel can offer. Honeycomb takes it further: guests can add a cold plunge for $39 and turn the evening into a genuine health-spa experience, all on private property, with nobody else around.
It’s a good reminder of what private-property glamping is really about. We’re not running a campground with shared amenities and a set schedule. We’re building spaces on our own six acres in Monument, Colorado, and when something isn’t quite right, we get to fix it in a way that fits the property and the guests who stay here.
If a private sauna, hot tub, and firepit sound like your kind of evening, Honeycomb is ready when you are.
