Every so often, we get to do one of our favorite things: walk someone new around Monument Glamping. This week it was Anja and her soon-to-be daughter-in-law Mec, out from out of town, standing at the edge of Monument Creek while we pointed out the tents, the decks, the spots where the light hits best in the evening.
It’s a small thing, but it always reminds us why we built this the way we did. Monument Glamping isn’t a campground or an RV park. It’s private property β six acres along the creek, with safari tents and container homes spaced out for real privacy. Each unit has its own deck, its own hot tub, its own fire pit. When you book here, you’re not sharing a lot with strangers. You’re stepping onto a piece of land that’s yours for the stay.
That’s the part that’s hard to describe until someone’s standing there seeing it. Photos show the tents and the creek. They don’t quite capture what it feels like to walk the property and realize how quiet it actually is β no shared bathhouse, no rows of RVs, no scheduling around anyone else’s trip.
We love hosting these kinds of visits, whether it’s a guest curious about the property before booking or a fellow landowner interested in what’s possible with land like this. If you’re planning a stay in Monument, Colorado, and want the full picture before you arrive, just ask β we’re happy to walk you through it, even before you check in.
Ready to see it for yourself? Reserve your stay at MonumentGlamping.com. Just show up β we’ll handle the rest.
