Every season teaches us something new.
This year, spring has been especially interesting.
When we first planned our calendar, we expected things to build gradually toward summer. That’s the typical pattern in outdoor hospitality—slower early months, followed by a surge as temperatures rise.
But April has been telling a different story.
After opening a couple of our tents earlier than planned, we saw bookings come in quickly. Weekends started filling up, and guests began leaning into this quieter, in-between season.
And the more we watched, the more it made sense.
Spring offers something unique:
Mild temperatures, fewer crowds, and an atmosphere that feels more relaxed than the peak of summer. The contrast between cool air and warm hot tubs creates a kind of comfort that’s hard to replicate later in the year.
But beyond the physical experience, there’s something else happening.
People are looking for space.
Not just physical space—but mental space. A break from busy schedules, constant notifications, and the pace of everyday life.
Spring seems to meet that need in a different way than summer does. It’s less about activity and more about stillness.
That’s something we’re continuing to learn from.
And it’s shaping how we think about the property moving forward—not just as a place people visit during peak season, but as an experience that can be just as meaningful in the quieter months.
If you’ve never considered a spring stay, it might be worth a second look.
