We weren’t planning to open these tents until May 1.
That’s been our normal schedule. Winter winds down, we take a little time to reset, and then we bring everything back online for the main season.
But this year feels different.
Over the past few weeks, our available units have been booking out consistently on weekends. At the same time, the weather has been unusually warm—with temperatures expected to reach close to 80 degrees this weekend.
That combination told us something important.
People aren’t waiting for “the season” to start.
They’re already traveling.
So we made a decision.
We opened Queen’s Retreat and Colorado Cowboy about five weeks earlier than planned.
Both tents offer a private, comfortable setup with custom pergolas on the front porch and hot tubs tucked behind for a more secluded experience. They’ve always been favorites once the season begins, but this year, the season seems to have started early.
Opening early creates a small window of availability that wasn’t originally there.
And based on how quickly recent weekends have filled, we expect that window to close quickly as well.
